Business Forum Ruelzheim

More than 80 representatives from politics and economy of the municipality followed the invitation of local mayor Reiner Hör and municipal mayor Matthias Schardt to the 3rd Rülzheim Business Forum, which took place at HWI pharma services GmbH this year. Alongside current topics, emphasis was placed on networking among the participants.

A highlight of the Business Forum was the visit of a delegation from Ominedo Pharmaceuticals Ltd., led by the owner and President Masao Tsuji. The company was founded in 1900 and is a renowned Japanese manufacturer of traditional herbal medicinal products of Kampo medicine. With the support of HWI group, the company obtained the first registration for a medicinal product of this millennia-old Japanese therapy method in Germany and established its newly founded subsidiary Ominedo Deutschland GmbH on the HWI campus in Rülzheim. To mark this occasion, Japanese Consul General Setsuko Kawahara from Frankfurt travelled to Rülzheim’s Business Forum.

Another highlight was the visit of Renate Radon, former member of the management board of Microsoft Germany. Today she accompanies medium-sized companies in plant engineering and software industry on their way to digital transformation. Renate Radon and Stefan Wissel engaged in a dialogue on Industry 4.0.

It was a successful event, which apart from networking also gave plenty of food for thought regarding the future business world and upcoming challenges.
